POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails oloao at the Chief Pont Office for the following places as under, subject to’the necessary sltratioua TUESDAY, JULY 1. Mails per Arawata will be closed as under ; For Otago and Australian Colonies, the United Kingdom, via Briudisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), Continent of Europe, India, Egypt, South Africa, &c.. Ordinary letters, at 1 p.m. Late fee letters, at 2 p.m. Registered letters, at 12 noon. Books and newspapers, at 12 noon. Money orders, at 11 a.m. Guard’s van, 2.40 p.m, train. Note. —There will be no supplementary mail per Arawata, _ .. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on August 25th, and the mail via Southampton on September Ist. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on July 18th, and will bo duo in London on September 2nd. SYDNEY J. DICK. Chief Postmaster.
