The barque Ansdsll, fer Kaipara, and brig Emneror, for Newcastle, Bailed thi# morning. The s.a. Wanaka, for Lyttelton and Northern Ports, cleared this morning, and will sail this afternoon, . _ . , The barque Sunbeam, Captain Thompson, arrived from Newcastle on Friday night, having left that port June 14th. The Sunbeam appears to have experienced but little of the bad weather at the same time that it has been met with by other vassal#. The brig Emily, that left Newcastle the same day as the Sunbeam and arrived here in company with her, reports having met the full force of the gale, as will be *aen from her report# to-day. The difference in the weather experienced of the two vessels is not unlike that reported by the brig Neptnne and the steamer Wakatipu at Wellington recently, and goes to prove that the lata had weather prevailed within comparatively narrow limits. The Sunbeam left Newcastle June Uth at noon with a light breeze from the W.S.W. The wind veered to the S. W. on the 15th, and blew in hal'd squalls until the 17th, the sea being high. The wind veered to the B.S.E, and S.S.W., making Cope Farewell on the 20th, the wind then being baffling. Passed Stephen’s Island at 4 a.m. on the 22nd, with a light S.W. wind and westerly up to 3 ».m., when it blew a southerly burster for a few hours. Light N.W. winds followed to Cape Campbell, afterwards veering to the S.W. on the 23rd, and blowing a gale with high sea. So continued to the 25th. Moderate weather prevailed since.
