Mnilfl close at the Chief Poet Office for the (ollowiug places as under, subject to the nooaasory tlteratbna : SATURDAY, JUNE 21. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Eotorua, at 1.50 p.m.: late fee letters, 2.10 p.m. ; guard's van, 2 40 p.m. train. For New South Wales and Queensland, per Ladybird (to connect with s.s. Taranna at Auckland), at 12 noon; late fee letters, 12.30 p.m.; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies (via San Francisco), China, Japan, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, per Ladybird, as under : Ordinary letters, at 12 noon. Late fee letters, at 12.30 p.m. Books and newspapers, at 11.30 a.m. Begistered letters, 11 a.m. Money orders, at 11 a.m. Late letter box, guard's van, 1.25 p.m. Lyttelton train. The mail for the United Kingdom will be due m London on Aug. 5. TUESDAY, JUNE 24. For Otago and Australian Colonies, 'per express train to Port Chalmers (to connect with s.s. Eotorua), at 7.30 a.m. The next mails for tho United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), will be closed at Christchurch on June 30th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London oa August 25th, and the mail via Southampton on September Ist. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
