The barque Southern Cross, from Hobart Town, was signalled this morning. The s.s Wanganui arrived last night from Dnnedin via Oamaru aad Timarn. She is aunounced to leave for Wellington, Nelson, and West Coast this afternocn. The barque Mary Blair, Captain H. Boon, arrived from Hobart Town yesterday afternoon. She left Hobart Town at 2 p.m. on June 4th, with a light northerly wind, which carried her to Cape Pillar on June 6th; thence easterly and S.E. winds for three days, when the wind hauled to the N.E. and N. to making Otago Heads on June 16th, bearing W. by N. distant thirty miles; thence light southerly and S.E winds to arrival at the Heads on June 18th, where she anchored for the tide, and worked up to an anchorage olf the breakwater yesterday afternoon. The barque Coromandel cleared at the Customs yesterday for London, with a cargo of 11,526 sacks of wheat, shipped by Messrs P. Cunningham and Co. She was towed out into the stream yesterday afternoon, and sails on Saturday. The Union Company's s.s. Tararua, Capt. Muir, arrived from Melbourne, Hobart Town, and South at 11 a.m. yesterday. Having landed cargo, passengers, fee., and embirked passengers. &c, for the North, the Tararua sailed for Wellington, East Coast. Auckland, and Sydney, at 6.30 p.m. The Lady Emma hence arrived at Newcastle June 4th, and the Australian Sovereign June sth. The Adelphoi hence arrived at Sydney June oth. The flags on the various vessels and buildings in Port were hoisted half-mast yesterday in respect to the memory of Mr Joseph Hobbs, who died yesterday morning. The "Woodvillo left Newcastle for here June 7th, and the Minora on June Ith. SHIPPING TBLEGEAMS. Wellington, June 20. Arrived, this morning, the ship City of Madrid, from LoniJffn. She had a fine weather passage. Two passengers died, one from inflamation of the brain, and the other from heart disease. Auckland, June 19. The steamer Tarn O'Shanter sold to-day to Joseph Bennett for £2lO. Sailed, from the Manukau: Taiaroa, for the South. Sailed for Lyttelton, last night, Saxon, with 13 tons doors and sashes. She calls at Mercury Bay to load 25,000 feet sawn timber.
