. «. SECOND DAY. The programme was resumed this morning at 9 o'clock, at the point attained yesterday. 1 he weather was very much against the sport, there being a steady, light rain throughout the day, and the ground was very wet and slippery. Two undecided were run and Z)e ; and Honeymoon and Sweep ran an undecided before the former won. Honeymoon was a hot favorite for the Christchurch Stakes, and had only got to run Zoe. The following heats hai come off up to the time of our going to press : Puppy Stakes. Firfcfc Ties. Bob Euadh beat Belle of the Isle Chang beat Bl vck Cloud Flirt beat Mark ham Second Ties. Chang beat Eob Euadh Flirt ran a bye Christchurch Stakes. First Tie\ Sweep beat St. Bees Honeymoon beat Fly Second Ties. Honeymoon beat Sweep Zoe beat Banner There wei o only three oourses to run when our reporter left the ground.
