Strong easterly gales were mot with on the run across and light winds and clear weather since making the coast. She sailed yesterday at 4 p.m. for Wellington. ..... . The barque Orient was towed into the stream yesterday, ready to sail for Callao. J The barque G. 8.5., for London, was towed into the stream yesterday. Sho will probably clear toB.s. Oroti, for Mnnnkan via Wellington and wav ports, is to sail to-day. ThV schooner T. B. Taylor, for Wanganui, is loading at the Tunnel Wharf, and is annonneed by her agents, Messrs Cuff and Graham, to sail in a Steamship Company’s s.s. Hawea is due to-morrow from Port Chalmers, on route to Auckland via way ports. The next of the Union Company s boats for Fort Chalmers and Akaroa is the Ladybird, to sail on Sunday next. . The borqnentine Alma. Captain Watters, arrived hence at Melbourne on Juno 2nd. The barqnes Woodville and Pleiades arrived hence at Newcastle May 31st, andW. C. Wentworth May 27th. The barqne Bells for here sailed from Newcastle June 2nd, and the Letterfonrie May 28th. The barqne Mary Blnir, Captain Boon, late in command of the Southern Cross barque, sailed from Hobart Town for this port on Wednesday, June 4th, with the following cargo:—2o cases tart fruit, 380 cases green fruit, 3 pkgs baskets, 7 pkgs luggage, 2 pkgs perambulators, 8090 sleepers (185.000 ft), 2100 ft timber, and one passenger, Mr J. Shattock. The barqne reported yesterday ns being signalled on Wednesday night conld not he seen yesterday morning, She was probably heating to the northward. _ SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, Jane 13. Captain Fisk reports that the ketch Comet, from Lyttelton for Blenheim, was lying ten days at Port Underwood, and only managed to cross yesterday. Timaro, June 12. The barque Edwin Fox cleared the Customs for London'to-day. and will sail early to-morrow She has 1000 tons of grain on board, valued at £IOO,OOO. She is the seventh English vessel loaded here this season, and besides two others that are now loading there are four more English vessels to follow here. Thus thirteen English vessels in all will be despatched from this port during the present season.
