Ringarooma, Captain Chatfield, arrived at 10 a m. to-day from Wellington, and will sail this afternoon for Melbourne, via Port Chalmers, Bluff, and Hohart Town. The schooner T. B. Taylor, to Messrs Cuff and Graham, arrived this morning from Timaru. ARRIVAL OF THE iN.Z.S. CO.'S WAIMATE. The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Waimate, Captain Peek, was signalled soon after eight o'clock this morning. The p.s. Lyttelton went out to her and towed her into the harbor. The Waimate has been ninety-six days from Deal, and has a large general cargo, hesides nineteen saloon and about forty second and steerage passengers. It is but seven months and twenty days sinco the Waimate sailed from Lyttelton for London, and her xetnru so quickly is a subject for congratulation to her officers, as it no doubt will be among the many friends and relations they have in Canterbury. TRIP OF THE S.S. MAORI. The Union Company's s.s. Maori, Captain Berniche, arrived yosterday morning at half-past two o'clock from Nelson. She left Dune.iin May 30th, at 9 p.m.; had moderate weather to Bluff on 31st at 1.35 p.m.; left there at 7.30 p.m. same day and arrived at Preservation Inlet at 6.15 a.m. June Ist- left at 7.40 a.m. and arrived at Dusky Sound Copper Mine at 1.30 p.m. the same day; left again at 3.35 p.m., and reached Martin's Bay at 7.1 j a.m. on the 2nd; left at 10.30 a.m., and stopped at Big Bay for two hours, and proceeded to Jackson s Bay. Reached there at 5.30 p.m., and sailed a'. 8 p.m.. arriving off the Hokitika bar at 11.35 a.m. The bar not being workable proceeded to the Grey and arrived at 8.15 p.m.Jon the 3rd; discharged cargo and took in coal, and sailed for Westport at 445 p.m. on the sth; crossed the bar and made fast to the wharf at 8.15 p.m.; discharged cargo and sailed at noon on the 6th; arrived at Nelson at 11.30 a.m. 7th, and sailed at 7 p.m.: met with strong head winds and heavy sea. The Maori sailed for Timaru yesterday at 3.30 p.m. _
