Sir, —I have the honor to report, for the information of the Board, as follows : Tee men have been employed during the month finishing the concrete work at the river end of Henderson's Bank. The work is now completed, and nothing has been spared in makiDg it as substantial as possible. At the lower works the men have been making and placing small blocks along the face of No. 7. They will have used up all the cement in a few days. They will then go on with placing the small block at the end of the groin next below No. 3. There ha 3 been one small flood during the month, and the river ha 3 returned into the south branch. No other change of importance has come under my notice. The river is yery low indeed now. I have, &e., Jas. Potts. The chairman stated that the weather had lately beeu very favorable for the carrying on of the works of the Board. The report was considered to be of a very satisfactory character, and was adopted. On the motion of Mr C. T. Ick it was resolved that, in future, the meetings of the Board should be held on the second Tuesday in the month instead of the second Monday, as heretofore The chairman and Mr Ick were empowered to arrange for the payment for making out the rate rolls.
