THE AUSTRALIAN EUROPEAN BANK STOPPED PAYMENT. MELBOURNE, June 5. The Australian European Bank at Melbourne has stopped payment. The particulars are unknown. There is terrible excitement among the other Banks and building societies. A notice on the door of the Australian Bank states that the Associated Banks will cash their cheques [EEUTBE’S TEEBOEAMS.] MELBOURNE, June 4. Arrived—Tamm. THE KELLY GANG. A telegram states that the Kellys are in the Puzzle ranges. Their saddles and trappings have been found and the police have gone in search. The susi • ision of the Australian European Bank is announced. The liabilities are not large. BRISBANE, June 4. It is reported that the Government intend to raise a further loan of three millions.

At a meeting of tho Cricket Association, held last night, a letter to the English Press was adopted, stating that Lord Harris’s letter was inaccurate and ungenerous, and that it suppressed several important facts.

The Treasurer has introduced his financial statement. He estimates the revenue at £1,658,000 and the expenditure ot £1,606,000. Anew loan of three millions is to be raised for immigration and public works.
