Malls close at tha Chief Poet Office for the following places as under, subject to,the neceesarj alterations ! FRIDAY, JUNE 6. For Northern ports, per Southern Cross, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard’s van. 12.10 p.m. train. SATURDAY, JUNE 7. For Otago, per Hawoa, at 1.50 p.m.; lata fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 6.80 p.m. TUESDAY. JUNE 10. For Otago and Australian Colonics, per Eingarooma. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on Juno 20th, and will be due in London on August sth. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Brindisi a«d Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), will bo closed at Christchurch on June 30th.
