Malls close at the Chief Post Offloe for the following places o.s under, subject to.the necessary •Iterations « WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), India, the Cape of Good Hope, Australian Colonies, and Otago, per express train to the Bluff, to connect with s.s. Arawata, at 7.30 a.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Queensland, and New South Wales, per Wakatipu, at 4.45 p.m. For Kaikoura, per Huia, at 4.45 p.m. Letters for despatch by Wakatipu and Huia must not be posted in the late letter box attached to the guard’s van. THURSDAY, JUNE 5. For Northern ports, per Southern Cross. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on Juno 20th, and will be due in London on August sth, SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
