THE KAITANGATA BELIEF FUND.
To the Editor of the Globe. Sis,—Acting under instructions from the City Council the town clerk has called a meet* ing of the Kaitangata Belief Committee for this evening at the Council Chamber. Can you tell mo what business the Council had to interfere in this matter f And if a meeting were necessary why was it not called by the secretary instead of the town clerk ?
