SYDENHAM LICENSING QUESTION.

To the Editor of the Globe, Sib, —Kindly allow me to deny the fako assertions made by that bigoted individual, sailing under false colors, and signing his scribble " Truth." He denies that any person connected with the Temperance League issued the handbills. I say call on me and I will produce proof that they did, and also perhaps even that " Truth " himself had his share in the " low, mean " proceeding. As to other statements made by "Truth," I will merely add they are the sayings of a perverter of the " truth," and of one who must have very good reasons for not stating his name. Hoping the little apology will be forgotten, and that " Truth's " mental abilities will be improved when he calls on me. Yours, &0., JOHN SMITH. Sandridge*
