TESTIMONIALS. TO PROFESSOR GUSSCOTT, SIR, —Having for tho last four years suffered from bad eyes, being totally blind in one, and from using a solution of nitrate of silver as a lotion, which had penetrated my whole system causing me the most acute pains, which, added to rheumatism, prevented my sleeping at night, and rendered ray life absolutely burdensome to me, I have consulted and been treated by doctors in different parts of Canterbury, as also in the Christchurch Hospital, but without obtaining the slightest relief. I have tried everything in the shape of patent medicines. I have b3en an outdoor patient in the Hospital; I got at times temporary relief. I could not sleep on my left side ; I kept rolling about backwards aad forwards in bed. When I got up in the morning, I would rather he iu bed, but work I had to attend to. To Professor Guscott, Sir, —I have been troubled with neuralgia for a length of time, and have suffered the most excruciating pains ; tried everything that I could hear of, I rhen saw your testimonials in the paper-, and the “ -tar.” I was advised to give you a trial, but I have this to say, that 1 am perfectly free from pain, I can eat and sleep well, and am not disturbed at night, or meal times as I have been for a length of lime.
