She is to sail today for Melbourne via South and Hobart Town. A meeting of owners of model yachts was held last night at Port to arrange for a race to take place in the bay on the Queen's Birthday. The regulations as to the course, time allowance, entrance fee, Ac, were discussed. The entrance fee wfia fixed at ss. Entries to be made on the evo of the ©vent. CLEARANCE OF THE NORTHAMPTON. The spleHdid composite-built ship Northampton, Captain Clare, was cleared yesterday at the Customs, for London, by her agent, Mr C. W. Tomer. She has a full eargo of wheat, valued at £14,570. The tug steamer Lyttelton towed her from the wharf to the stream, ready to proceed to sea. SHIPPING TELEGEAMS. Wellington, May 12. Sailed—Bingarooma, for the South. Passengers —Miss Clayton, Messrs Woodhouso, Robinson, Moholy, Manguin, Glen, Sharp, Mackey, Wilson. The Underwriters' Association report, under date London May 9th—Arrived: Ship Calypso, from Port Chalmers. Dbkhdih, May 12. Be Union Steamship Company's vessels. The Penguin will arrive in two months from date. The Claud Hamilton having broken her crank shaft Will be under repair at Melbourne for a month. In the meantime, Wellington and West Coast goods and passengers will arrive via the BlaS and Dunedin, and will be transhipped north. The Botomahana will leave the Clyde in the middle of July, and London on the sth August. The Te Ana will arrive here by Christmas, from London. Llopp, May 12. The Albion arrived at 2.15 p.m. She left Melbourne at 3.15 p.m. on the 6th ; arrived at Hobart Town at 1.30 p.m. on the Bth; left at 5 p.m. on the aame day ; passed Solanders at 7 a.m. on the 12th.
