Mails close at the Chief Post Office (or the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations i TUESDAY, MAY 13. Por Otago and Australian Colonies, per Eingarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters 2.10 p.m,; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MAT 14. For Northern ports, per Albion, The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchurch on Friday, May 28rd, and will be due in London on July next mail for the|United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only), will be closed at Christchurch, on Monday, June 2nd. . The mail via Brisindi will be due in London on July 28th, and the mail via Southampton, on August 4th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
