It is rumored (aavs the “ European Mail”) that Prince Leop Id will become a clergyman of the Church of England. His Royal 'Ugliness is well read in the theology, and to carry into effect his intentions he will be able to pass the bishop’s examination. A chemist says tears are simply “pbospate of lime, chlorate of sodium, and water.” Now that the thing is understood, if a man’s mother-in-law dies he can go to a drug store and get all the tears necessary for the occasion for about sixpence.
