The barque Island City, Captain McDonald, arrived in harbor yesterday morning from Newcastle, which port she left on Thursday, April 3rd. Had moderate weather to arrival. The s.s. Hnia, for Foxton via Kaikoura, and Wellington on Monday next, and the s.s. Southern Cross, for Auckland via Wellington and Napier on Tuesday, are announced by Messrs Cuff and Graham. , ~ The John Knox, Captain Davis, finished discharging to-day, and commenced taking in cargo for Sydney. The Akbar was towed out by the p"s. Lyttolton yesterday. __________________ ARRIVAL OF THE HIMALAYA. This vessel, in command of Captain Pitfleld, arrived from Loudon last night. She left Deal January 10th, and conies to Messrs Edwards. Bennett, and Co. She lias brought a well-filled passenger list, the names of whom are given in the arrival notice above.
