Sidney, April 1. The quarter’s revenue shows a falling off of £74,000, as compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The land revenue alone has decreased £IOO,OOO. The customs also show a decrease. The revenue from railways, however, shows an increase. [special to globe.] Sydney, April 1. At the torpedo boat trial over seventeen miles were traversed in an hour. The quarter’s revenue is £1,130,000, being a decrease on the same quarter of last year of £78,000, caused by the stoppage of land sales, which declined over £IOI,OOO. The revenue from all other sources had increased. The expenditure wasj£9lß,ooo. The net balance was £3,913,000.
