The first reinforcements for the Zulu campaign were landed at Natal on the sth inst. The remainder wore to disembark on the 10th. The relief cf will shortly be attempted. There is no truth in the rumor that the Zulus had made overtures of peace. An attack by the Basutos has been repulsed, Paeis, March 29. The French Government undertakes the expense of transporting exhibits to Sydney. London, March 29. Mutton tallow, 35s fid. The Commissioners will consider to-day the proposal to invite the Prince of Wales to open the exhibition. Calcutta, March 30. Sandeman’s camp at Eaghakana was attacked by 2000 of the enemy, who were completely defeated, with a loan of 145. Our loss was small.
