POST OFFICE NOTICES
Mails close at the duet Post Office tor the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations: — SATURDAY, MARCH 29. For Otago and Australian Colonies, por Wanaka, at 1 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2 40 p.m. train. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, America, Europe, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &0., per Ladybird, at 1 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard's van, railway station, 2,10 p.m. train. Registered letters, books, and newspapers at moon. Money orders, at 11 a.m. This mail will be due in London on May 12th. The next mails for the United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will be closed at Christchurch on April 7th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on June 2nd, and the mail via Southampton on Juno 9th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Ohinf ?
