The prominent speakers who took part in the discussion were Lord Graville, Sir M # H. Beach, Lords Cardwell and Selbourne. All commended Sir A. Gordon’s energy in Fiji. From a remark of Sir H. Beach, it is inferred that Sir A. Gordon will not return.
