[special to pbhss agency.] London, March 8. The money market is easier. The Bank minimum is unchanged. Discount rates in the open market are falling. Business on the stock exchange is dull. The market for Colonial Government debentures has a steady tone. In the wool market prices receded. The fall was most strongly marked in crossbreds and inferior grease. Medium to good steady. Superior fleece and grease is 15 to 20 per cent, below last February. The corn market is steady, with an upward tendency. New Zealand wheat is selling, ex store, according to quality, at 44s to 435. The "Spectator,” in a moderate article, condemns Mr Berry’s proposals, and suggests an alternative securing finality without abolishing the Council. [BETTER’S TELEGRAMS.] London, March 7.
