The schooner Laetitia arrived this morning from Ngnngnru, and the barque Italy cleared for New-The'forty-flve Government immigrants for Canterhury, per Warwick, at Nelson, March 2nd, were brought down by the steamerWauaka, on Saturday. The Maud Graham will sail in a few days hence to Timarn. ~„•., ■, i The barquentine Ebenezer, the ship Mallowdale, and the brigantine Star reached Newcastle hence February 21st. the Swallow February 25th. The Borongh Belle, Capt, Dunne, hence, arrived at Sydnoy, February 21. The schooner Waiwera sailed for Lyttelton via Ngunfc'uru February 26th. The Pot, barque, is expected hero from Hobart The ship Matilda, 850 tons, is in the Australasian Shipping Register as loading at Freemantle, W.A., for Lyttelton. ,**«.«. The ship Samar, which arrived at Melbourne, February 27th, ninety-one days from New York, reports speaking on the 18th nit. the British brigantine Floral Star, twenty-two days from Mauritins, for Now Zealand, in latitude 41.13, longitude 118.46. , , .. t The brig Transport, thirteen days in the stream awaiting her turn to discharge, was berthed on Friday. ~. _ , . _.. Captain "Veel has been succeeded by Captain Gilbert Brown us master of the brig Fawn. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cabin advice of the arrival of the Orari and Waitangi at London, all well. The Waitangi sailed from Lyttelton on the 19th of December, and made the run home in seventy-two days. Subsequent advices received by the company state that the Rakaia from Wellington had also arrived safely. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata, Captain Underwood, arrived on S-turday morning at ten o'clock, sixteen hours from Port Chalmers, and six days and twenty hours from Melbourno via Bluff. She experienced strong easterly winds on the rnn across, and changeable li-ht airs along the coast. Her cargo, 160 tons for Lyttelton, o cupied several hours in discharging, owing to the insufficient supply of tracks, detaining her until 7 p.m., at which hour she sailed for Wellington. The s.s. Wanaka, Captain MeGillivray, arrived at 3 p.m. Saturday, after a rather lengthy run of twenty-one honrs from Wellington. She left Auckland on Monday last, and called at Tauranga, Poverty Bay and Napier, meeting with fine weather and light winds on the run. After landing cargo as per memoranda above, sho left for Port Chalmers at seven o'clock.
