Mr Frederick Burgess, who has but just returned from the land of the Khedive, positively and absolutely rejected every opportunity which was afforded him to purchase for Mr G. W. Moore a steed in Arabia, or for himself some of the well paying bonds of the land of Pharaoh. It is understood, however, that he has secured several excellent specimens of the ancient fleshpots of Egypt.
