ADDRESSES TO CONSTITUENTS

MR MONTGOMERY AT AKAROA, Akaroa, March 6.

Mr W. Montgomery, M.fl.R. for Akaroa, addressed his constituents to night, at the Town Hall. There was a large attendance, the Mayor of Akaroa in tho chair. Mr Montgomery spoke at length on various subjects of public interest, and was loudly cheered on resuming his seat. The following resolution, moved by Mr J. D. Garwood, and seconded by Mr R. Shadbolt, was carried unanimously, and with acclamation “ That this meeting desires to thank Mr Montgomery for his address this evening, and also to record the continued confidence of the constituency in him as their representative.”
