TTJTE have subjected a sample of tha V V above-named artiole to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis s which are set forth In a separate report, show that this spirit la of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces, of solid matter in solution. I have the honor to report for your Inform*, tion that the sample of Imperial Sohiedam Sohnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching ohemioal analyst and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that It is the finest sample of Schnapps that has yet come undei my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil oi other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the produotion of the ohoicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for sale.
