Mallei close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary Alterations SATURDAY, MARCH 1. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, at 10 a.m. For Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika, per Maori, at 1 p.m,; late fee letters, 1.45 p m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 2.-10 p.m. train. For Northern ports of Now Zealand, per Hawea, at 1 p.m.; late fee letters, 1.45 p.m. j late letter box. guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. ’ B MONDAY, MARCH 3. For Akaroa, Otago, and Australian colonies, per United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, and America, via San Francisco, per Hawea, as follows :—Ordinary letters, at 1 p.m.; late fee letters; at 1.45 p.m. ; registered letters, at noon; books and newspapers, at noon; money orders, at 11 a.m.; late letter box. guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on April 15th. The next mails for United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will be closed at Christchurch on March 12tb.
