It is anticipated that a telegraph station will be opened the c, as it merely needs tho wire to bo attached and led into a tent. Dunedin. February 26. The men employed on the harbor works bav®, np to tho present , collected £55 in aid of tho Kaitangata relief fund. The beads of the departments in the employ of Messrs Guthrie and Larnach, having duly considered the matter, have agreed, on behalf of the workmen, that all employes should subscribe one day’s pay as their quota to tho fund.
