Mails olose at the Chief Post Offloe for the 'allowing plaoea as under, subject to the neooasarj ilteratiomj • WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Hawea, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; late letter box, guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27. For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, 10 a.m. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand and Sydney, per Taravua. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will be closed at Christchnrch on Saturday, March Ist, and will be due in London on April 15th. The next mails for United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton will be closed at Christchnrch on March I2th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on May sth, and the mail via Southampton on May 12th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chiaf Postmaster.
