[eeutee’b teleqhamb to thb pebbs AGENCY.] Mblboubne, February 23. Governor Bowen and family left to-day by the Suez mail steamer for Mauritius. His Excellency was accorded the customary honors. The cricket match, Lord Harris’ team v. Victoria, was resumed to-day. The latter in their first innings made 261. Lord Harris’ eleven in their second innings got 59 for the loss of three wickets. Cavil! swam fifteen miles in the Yarra in six hours to-day. [SPECIAL TO “ GLOBB.”] Melbourne, February 22. The Victorian Government have issued a proclamation against the “Argus” for articles injuring the credit of the colony. They refuse to give official information. The A-S.N. Company state that they are not purchasing new steamers.
