Turner's line, was towed to sea this morning. The following vessels were lying in the stream this morning ready to proceed to sea on first change of wind;—Helen Angler, Signal, Prince Alfred, Nightingale, and Ada C. Owen. The signal F.N. (do not abandon me) on the south yard arm of the flagstaff, proved to be the barque Matthieu signalling for a tug-boat. The p.s. Tai will be dispatched on Monday next to Kaikonra and Wellington by Messrs Cuff and Graham. . The brigantine Eliza Firth hence was being towed into the Grey as the Examiner loft. Captain Sconllar also reports the Sarah and Mary for the Bluff was to sail the day after the Examiner on the 12th, . „ x The s.s. Albion will sail to-morrow for Port Chalmers, and the s.s. Wauaka for Wellington and Northern ports. The steamers Star of the South and the Oreti are announced by Messrs J. M. Hey wood and Co,, the former for Dunedin via intermediate ports, Feb. 22nd, and the Oreti, in a new service, namely, to the Manakan by way of Wellington, Wanganui, and Taranaki, February 24th.
