ITTE have subjected a sample of the I l ' V above-named artiole to a very careful ohemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth In a separate report, show that thia spirit is of good strength, praotically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. I have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Sohnapps forwarded by yon to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critioal examination, the result of which enables mo to state that it is the finest taiple of Sohnapps that has yet come nnde? .„y notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and ifl absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It la very smooth to the palate, and In this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for sale.
