POST OFFICE NOTICES
Mails close at the Chioi Post Office for the following; places as under, subject to the necessary alterations
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1. For Aktiroa and Dingo, per Taupo, at G. 30 p.m. Late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used for this mail.
For the United Kingdom, Continent of Enropo, America, via San Francisco, Sydney, Brisbane, and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 1 p.m.; late fee letters, 1.45 p.m. Books, newspapers, and registered letters, at noon. Money orders, at 11.30 a.m. Late letters, guard’s van, 2.10 p.m. train.
The next mail for the United Kingdom via Brindisi and .Southampton will close at Christchurch on February 12th. The mail via Brindisi will be duo in London on April 7th, and the mail via Southampton on April 14th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
