As a teetotaller, and one well acquainted with a large member of staunch teetotallers, particularly i n Canterbury, 1 teel justified in saying tb.at they have taken shares in the Tempera ace Hotel Company with ,he understandin g that it would be conducted on strictly temperance principles for the general advancement and good of the people. The heading ai this letter is, therefore, the most appropriate usuun for the first hotel of its kind established in Canterbury by the people, and ',t is to be hoped no director or shareh.
