THE EAST TOWN BELT.

To the Editor of the Globe. Sir,—l think it is very unreasonable that such slow progress should bo made with the new work on the east town belt. Every wind now covers the whole neighborhood with clouds of dust. It is very hard that wo who live on Armagh street, Chester street, and Gloucester street should have our lives made miserable because the City Council will not take the trouble to see that the work is finished. Yours trulv, A CONSTANT SUFFERER. January 27.
