The results of the analytißj which are Bet forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, ttnd that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable arorna., and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is weU purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) ARTHUR H. I have the honor to report for your informs* tion that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemioal analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables mo to state that it is the finest sample of Schnappß that has yet oome under my notice. It has a purs fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of mait in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. Jt is very smooth to the palate, and in thin respect compares favourably with othew samples offered for &al«. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or ooonomia oarposes.
