Melbourne, January 20. A memorial from the unemployed to the Governor is in course of preparation, representing the existence of severe distresg, and praying the Government to take steps to ameliorate the same.
A New Goldfield. A discovery of a new and rich quartz reefing district in Gippsland is reported.
