WE have subjected a sample of the above-named article to a very oarefnl chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are net forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but tracea of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pare and mild taste, Mr Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine, (Signed) ARTHUR H. I have tho honor to report fr /t yonj Informa, tion that the sample of Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by y' JU to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysla and critical the result of which enables me to state that it is the finest sample of Schnapp s that has yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and 1s absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other Injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for side.
