Sib, —My attention haring been drawn to the fact that in your report of the above con* ference on the 10th instant, while you mentioned the number of deputies correctly in the enumeration of the names, you omitted my name, and mine only. I care little personally about public honor or opinion, but, as I was elected, in company with the Mayor, to represent the City Council at that conference, it is only just the Council and the ratepayers should know that I was at my post, and did my duty.
