TE have subjected a sample of the i above-named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Bet forth In a separate report, show that this spirit la of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that It contains but traces of solid matter In solution. I have the honor to report for your informs. tion that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical, examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the tinw'c sample of Sohnapps that has yet oome under my notice. It has & pure fragrant odour, and la absolutely free from any trace, of fneil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been diptil'ed from Bupe tier ryo grain, always used instead of malt in the production of the ohoioest qualities of Schnapps.
