POST OFFICE NOTICES
Mails clobs at tho Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations
TUESDAY, JANUARY 7. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Wakatipu. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8. For Northern Ports, per Ladybird.
For the Chatham Islands, per Omaha, on Saturday, January 11th, at 11.30 a.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, will close at this office on January 15th. The mail via Southampton will he duo in London on March 17th, and the mail via Brindisi on March 10th, 1879.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will close at this office on January 31st, and will be duo in London on March 18th. dADNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
