PAKE-PAKE EACE3. [By Tblkgraph.l Nai'lEß, December 28. The Pate-Pake rncos were held yesterday. Whanganui beat the Baron in the hurdle race. In the hack hurdles cix started, Substitute winning. Kaokaoroa and Misa Flat the only two at the post for the' Maiden Plate, which was won by the former. Never Miss and Tawera made a dead heat for the Railway Stakes, and the prize was divided. The Handicap was raced for by Maori Wei d and Otupai, the latter coming in first easily. * CPvOMWELL PACES. At the Cromwel! racss, yesterday, Haricot won the Handicap of 45 sovSj and <?lyd,e the County Plate of DO |otb.
