Retting on the races is as follows : AUCKLAND CUP. 6 to 4 against Punga. 5 to 1 against Elsa. 3 to 1 against Ariol. 4 to 1 against Gillie Cnllum. 4 to 1 against Elizabeth. 5 to 1 against The D -n or Omega. HUEDLK BACE. 2 to 1 against The Agent. 2 to 1 against Evcrsley. 3,4, and sto 1 against anything else. 10 to 15 to lon tho above doubles. 100 to 4to 3 on the treble, Cup, Hurdle, and Steeplechase. Tho Cup Handicap and Steeplechase the same price. All tho principal events are pretty open, and bookmakers are betting freely.
