Mails oloso at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10. For Akaroa aud Otago, per Hawea, at 11.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.50 a.m.; late letter-box, guard’s van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Claude Hamilton, at 1.50 p.m.: late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; and late letter box, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Star of the South, at 3.15 p m. ; late fee letters, 3.35 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, 4 p m. train. For Kaikoura and Wellington per Tni, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter-box, guard’s van must not be used for this mail. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11. For Northern ports, per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letter-box, guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Wakatipn. For the United Kingdom via Suez and Brindisi on Tuesday, December 17th. The mail via Southampton will be due in London on February 17th, and via Brindisi on February 10th, 1879.
