Laecent. —A man named Walter Worley wae arrested yesterday on a charge of stealing a silver lever watch with chain attached, from a bedroom in Smith’s Hotel, Duntroon, near Oamaru on November 4th. He was in the act of pawning it at the Mont de Piete, when Mr Nathan recognising it from a description in his possession gave the man into custody of the constable on the beat. He will be brought up at the Court this morning.
