Taylor, schooner, 54 tons. Smith, for Greyjnouth. Cuff and Graham, agents. Tongariro, s.s., 39 tons, Marquet, for Leßon's Bay. Master, agent. The Tui, s.s., sails for Kaikonra, Wellington, and Foxton, to-night. . _ , The Wanaka. s.s., sailed for Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast, this afternoon. The Advance, from Gisborne, arrived to-day. The schooner Reward, Captain Westlake, left Picton on Tuesday, November 26th; cleared Tory Channel next morning, with strong gale from the North, which held to November 27th; then had forty hours’ calm and heavy rain, after which light S.E. till arrival in harbor on Saturday morning. The schooner Isabella, Captain Ware, left Gatlin’s River last Wednesday; had strong N.W. winds to Oamaru; then S.E. winds to Banks’! Peninsula; light easterly from Banks’ Peninsula till arrival yesterday. J The s.s. Wanaka arrived at Lyttelton at 2 p.m. yesterday. She left Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. on Saturday, arriving as above. Experienced strong N.W. gale, with heavy sea up the coast. The Wanaka brings 50 tons cargo for here, which she will discharge at the Steamers’ wharf, sailing North this afternoon. The Southern Cross steamer having loaded a large ca'go, sailed for Auckland, via Wellington and East Coast, at 6.30 p.m. on Saturday. The barque Mary Ann Annison, Captain Hughes, arrived on Saturday at 9 p.m., from Whangaroa, with a cargo of timber for Messrs Langdown and Co. She left that port on November 23rd in company with the Ansdell and Wellington, barques, bound to Dunedin, and had moderate variable weather to arrival as above. The barque Palace, which has since sailed for Dunedin, and the Cartmorn, also loading for the Southern metropolis, were the only other vessels at Whangaroa when the Mary Ann Annison left.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
Wellington, December 2. The harqnentine May, from Hong Kong, eightyfive days out, brings 6500 packages of tea and 250 tons of Eastern prodnee. The ship and cargo are consigned to Tnrnbnll and Co.
