IMPERIAL SCHIEDAM SCHNAPPS. DR. HASSALL’S REPORT. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 64, Holboru Viaduct, E.C. London, 9th May, 1877. Received from Mb H. J. Hart. WE have subjected a sample of the above-named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth In a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it cor .tains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart’s Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine, (Signed) ARTHUR H. HASSAL, M.D., Author of “Food and its Adulteration.” OTTO HEHNER, F.C.S., Public Analyst. 8 ° aic l a iu'rl a t POtg* e y*. r;s m. 'Mpc Ria? S CSIV i Hor_f a ir* 9 Ofth. ■Die/ * A **4 WM. JOHNSON’S REPOB.T. Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, 23rd July, 1877. Hknri J. Hart, Esq. I have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by yon to mo has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables mo to state that it is the finest sample of Schnapps that has yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is ahsolately free from any trace of fusil oil or other Injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in tho production o£ the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It Is very smooth to the palate, and In this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic; ourposos. I have tho honor to be, &o n (Signed) WM. JOHNSON, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This pure medical spirit, superior to any m tho market, and lower in price, is offered to tho public under the full conviction that will supersede all others now In use. A TRIAL IS EARNESTLY SOLICITED. WILSON, BAWTISLL & CO.„ MERCHANTS,
