} Dunedin Herald.” 1 The most interesting and exciting rifle match that has been fired in Dunedin for some years came off on Monday morning at Anderson’s Bay butts, at six o’clock, between a team of eight from the following companies : —Dunedin City Guards, Christchurch City Guards, Christchurch Engineers, Riverton Rifle-, Invercargill Rifles, and the Arrow and Qm.emtown Rifles. The morning was very favorable for good shooting mv il arriving at the 500 yards range, when the wind came very puffy and shifty from the roar. As will be seen from the scores below, the Rivii’tou Rifles h ive headed the list, with the Dunedin City G .aids close on their heeis. RIVERTON RIKLES.
