POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations . MOND VY, NOVEMBER lira. For South and Australian colonics, per Alhambra, at 1.50p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway sta’ion, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Wauaka, at 4.45 p.m.; late letter box, guard’s van, must not be used for this mail. Note.— Monday, 11th, being a Public Holiday, the Money Order and Savings Bank Department of the Post Office will be closed. There will be only one delivery by letter carriers leaving the office at 9 a.m. The windows will be open as usual for delivery of letters, sale of stamps, and registration of letters. SYDNEY J.
